On the 5th pull we took down the bad lad once we fond out the best Tank Spot after a few wipes with adds pathing through things to the raid. Quite a decent fight but formally on FARM status now after our 2nd kill of this mob last night.

Nothing else in the form of new kills although we did 3 group Wing 3 of VP the other night which we were quite pleased with. Other than that its just been bashing TMC and Palace in TSO with a Sprinkle of Myth Updates and SoH to break it up and loot heaven lately.

Its been a long road but we can finally say, after much determination that we have cleared VP. We have been into VP now 5 times and on the 5th visit Nexona has fallen at our feet. A damn tricky mob where we realised placement is everything but we won in the end and have him sitting at our feet for full fame and glory. A sigh of relief was breathed by the Necromancers and Inquisitors too. Now its back to staying on the track with the TSO raids and other fun items with alt gearing VP runs where needed.

After the summer break and a bit of messing about in the various Kunark and TSO zones, and with some seriously annoying weeks spent on Nexona who seems to hang on to his last 15% health like a demon, we took a team into VP and returned with some of its plunder. Some new 1st kills for the guild, and some new Mythical weapons for its raiders.

Back to Raiding after the summer break, we decided to start on the newly changed Venril Sathir. Still a pain in the neck mob but one we managed, after a few attempts, to show the power of SotD.

And with more on the horizon it can only be a good time to draw blood in the name of SotD. More TSO and VP for Mythical updates to follow very soon.

On our very 1st instance of Veeshans Peak, we looked at our 1st Dragon that would form the last update of some of our Mythical weapon kills. Druushk is a mob that requires a lot of planning and team work to complete... a real challenge for a nervous, but excited team of raiders, many of whom are in VP for the 1st time. Those nerves soon faded when a very well executed kill by all involved caused Druushk to fall at our feet.

Other than the great loot he dropped, this was a particularly proud kill for the guild as it marked the very 1st Mythical Weapon to be obtained by guild raids alone. There will be many more to come but this is a huge achievement for us all. Of course, as this is my own Mythical weapon I can be that little extra bit pleased but the real shining beacon in all of this, is the fact we have started obtaining Mythicals as a guild who raids twice a week for fun.
