We have had a fantastic run recently but the photographer has been a bit slacking. To catch up on some recent guild 1st kills and zones cleared here is a roll call of the fallen...

And with more on the horizon it can only be a good time to draw blood in the name of SotD. More TSO and VP for Mythical updates to follow very soon.

On our very 1st instance of Veeshans Peak, we looked at our 1st Dragon that would form the last update of some of our Mythical weapon kills. Druushk is a mob that requires a lot of planning and team work to complete... a real challenge for a nervous, but excited team of raiders, many of whom are in VP for the 1st time. Those nerves soon faded when a very well executed kill by all involved caused Druushk to fall at our feet.

Other than the great loot he dropped, this was a particularly proud kill for the guild as it marked the very 1st Mythical Weapon to be obtained by guild raids alone. There will be many more to come but this is a huge achievement for us all. Of course, as this is my own Mythical weapon I can be that little extra bit pleased but the real shining beacon in all of this, is the fact we have started obtaining Mythicals as a guild who raids twice a week for fun.

After what I am labelling an eventful Leviathan kill (sorry folks) to "quickly" flag folks who had not been done on the 1st run we entered Veeshans Peak for the 1st time last night. The end game raid zone of Rise of Kunark looks as good as we hoped it would.

On our 1st run in there we learned the pulls needed for the highly social trash. lootemd many gems in readyness for our set armours and took a bit of a liking to Kluzen. He immediately fell under the weight of the SotD raid and we took away his loot and posed for the camera before heading off.



More VP on the next 2 raids as we carry on this zone instance and see how we do.

On our 1st attempt we took down The Leviathan. We did 2 pulls to farm the bombs needed to kill him and purposefully wiped on each of them and then we went for him. On our 1st attempt at a kill pull he was down. A nervous and complicated fight but handled brilliantly by the raid team well done all.

We now have the 1st batch of guildies keyed for VP and able to access this Tier 4 Raid zone. We also have some happy dings in terms of some Mythical weapon updates dinging their 2nd update with only VP standing in the way of some of SotDs 1st Mythical weapons.



And thats not all... he dropped an item for our Trophy room so that makes 2 Trophies we will have setup once we get the mounts made. Watch this space for some Trophy showing off.

Moving on within a theme, we took out a batch of targets on our Farm session and generated a lot of loot for the guild. Moving onto the "Tomb of the Mad Crusader" for only the second time tonight we took some time to learn the strategy required on these new mobs.

Here is Ultarak just before he dropped to the floor leaving a lovely shiny chest behind for us to peer into.

Our next goal is to backflag VP access with some Leviathan action and start adding the VP mobs to farm and take all the loot they have to offer.
